This was such a lovely project to work on, The St. Ives Co are a lovely little brand and gift shop located in St Ives, specialising in locally made homeware, jewellery, beauty products and accessories. Earlier this year they opened their brand new shop right on the harbour front in St Ives.
The St Ives co is run by 3 lovely sisters and they source their products from local, Cornish makers. It's such a beautiful, unique shop that celebrates the best in modern craft and how these gorgeous pieces can integrate with everyday life in your home.
We began working together on a selection of new products in the spring of 2022. We both wanted to create a unique collection which was exclusively for sale in their shop. This enabled us to create a Studio Lowen X The St Ives Co collection which is inspired both by the The St Ives Co brand and life in St Ives.
The products themselves are all Studio Lowen shapes, our make up bag, everyday purse and card holder. However, we sourced brand new, gorgeous Italian leathers in a Navy and Nude pink for this collection, which offered something new. The St Ives Co designed their own print for the recycled leather collection too, which I then adapted and painted on our British made recycled leather.
We also designed a unique logo, which was sourced and stamped on to every product. We also made their new co-ordinates keyring in Navy and Nude. Be sure to check out this gorgeous shop in their new home on The Wharf in St Ives.
